When phoning for medical advice or attention the receptionist may have to ask some personal details to make sure that they are satisfied as to the identity of the caller. Please do not be offended as it is necessary to ensure that unauthorised persons are not soliciting information to which they are not entitled. This is rare and all reception staff are aware of the confidential nature of information held within these offices.
